The Philippine Medical Association (PMA) will observe World TB Day on March 24, 2024, by hosting its 1st PMA TB Summit with the theme “One PMA for a TB-Free Philippines 2035”. The summit is scheduled for February 21, 2024, at the PMA Auditorium, North Avenue, Quezon City from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Additionally, the event will be accessible via Zoom and Facebook Live.

This event aims to encourage all members of PMA to take an active role in the eradication of Tuberculosis in the Philippines.
There will be a signing of a pledge of commitment among the Component Societies, represented by our PMA President, Dr. Maria Minerva P. Calimag, along with representatives from the Specialty Divisions, Subspecialty, and Affiliate Societies of PMA. This event will be witnessed by partner stakeholders from the government and private sector, who will also take an active role in the eradication of TB in the Philippines by year 2035.”
