The PMA celebrated the Medicine Week nationwide as mandated by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 439 issued by then President Elpidio Quirino in 1957. This year’s 59th Medicine Week Celebration was scheduled September 18-24, 2016 with the theme “Nagkakaisang Manggagamot Tungo sa Malusog na Pamayanan”.
